Our Mission

Sunflower Roots Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening communities by fostering meaningful connections across generations.

We design and deliver evidence-informed programs that bring together older adults, children, youth, families, and community partners through creative expression, cultural heritage, storytelling, education, wellness, and volunteer service.

Our mission is to reduce social isolation, promote emotional well-being, preserve personal stories and cultural traditions, and create opportunities where every generation can learn from, support, and inspire one another.
